Service Facilities
The Alliance has access to excellent scientific and administrative service facilities which are an elementary prerequisite for competitive research on an international level. The available infrastructure includes technologies for high-throughput analyses in proteome and genome research, light and electron microscopy, mass spectrometry and FACS, animal facilities and transgenic services as well as the inter-institutionally operated service-units for RNAi-screening and Chemical Biology for the search of new compounds. In addition, the DKFZ-ZMBH Alliance supports its scientists by providing a state-of-the art IT infrastructure and bioinformatics services.
